The planets and the....whatever the brushing is supposed to be... are pretty cool. Dunno how I feel about that plane though... it just doesn't seem to fit somehow. The angle almost looks like it's taking off, but from where?

Wonderful job to both of you! I really enjoy the soft blues and greens in this piece. Max, the space part shows some great creativity; great idea for the space! It really looks great (as always with the planets as well). And Josh: great render. The depth and haze really looks great, along with the POV. The terrain looks like a greaet terrain, but I might try and make the surface a little more complex, or rather contrasting. It seems to be one shade of green all around. I really like the water, though; it reminds me of looking at Cincinnati from the Kentucky side of the Ohio river. Kentucky's side is really flat and Cincinnati's side juts up sharply and is filled with huge hills. I do agree with what was said above about the plane as well. It seems to not fit in any way. The blur shows that it would be ascending... but this place looks to be remote for hundreds of miles; so it would be much higher off the ground and not as visible or a dominant distractor of the piece.

A nice job overall. I happen to like the jet, it gives a good focus point for the image. The brushing however was a little too overdone for me personally. It could have used a little something else going on there.
