Literally, my first reaction was, "That's Sick!" You utilized the rule of thirds and the execution is nice and clean. But what really amazes me is that this is a space pic that's di-chromatic. The contrast between the green and the yellow works so well. Very nice piece!

Overlooking a planet and it's moon from the surface of a nearby star. Nice.

This makes me thirsty...either for some Mountain Dew or for some Sulfuric Acid ( if theres a difference ) But seriously though, it really stands out from the crowd. Those stars are very realistic, that red giant in the far backround looks just like the NASA photo's of distant stars.

Amazing. Btw, when you say music, do you listen to Adema? Their last cd, called "Planets" incidentally, had a song called "lift me up on it".

Their older stuff was more nu metal linkin parkish stuff, and I wasn't much of a fan of their vocalist. I'm not sure how to catagorize their new cd, but it's definitely in the hard rock area. The vocalist for that one had a much wider voice range, and overall it was a pretty good cd.

And if that's asking too much a 1600x1200 version would be awesome.

The moon in between the two big planets has it's light side pointing at too much of a angle in comparison to the other planets. All the light sides should be pointing towards the same light source so it should be pointing the same way as the planet behind it.

Hmmmm, hmmm, hmm. Planets, as usual, very nicely done. Personally i really do not like this neb style, it seems similar to the style you used in a recent terraspace piece..can't remember the name.

I much preferred the style you had going on in Driftworld. Still, good to see a space artist pumping out some works. The spacescape community is kinda drifting to a halt.

Ho hum. I agree about the spacescape community drifting apart... what happened to that group you and ~AP123 formed?
I sincerely hope people will be re-enthused and I will do my part for the community.

This style of nebulae is currently under development. I feel that I've improved upon my previous techniques, and definetely made some headway in terms of form and texture, but I'm greatly lacking an appropriate colour scheme. I'm going to try and do something to improve that soon.

Anyway, these are my thoughts. Hope to see some new works from you soon too. :D

Bah Expansive is ghost town atm, lol even after i said it WOULDNT become inactive. School work etc catches up with you i guess.

Hmm i think you should be looking into the neb technique in Driftworld...plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's actually a very similar technique, just a different presentation. (i.e. the neb in drift is more faded)

Just amazing detail and realism. I love how the atmosphere of the foreground planet seems to be almost seething with wisps breaking off. Awesome!
